August Favourites

Since August has sadly gone for another year we thought we would do our monthly favourite post to summarise our summer favourites.

The first two favourites are lip products. On the top of the picture is the 'balance Me' limited edition shine on tinted lip salve. The colour is sheer raspberry and has an orangy flavour , which doesn't make sense to the colour name but oh well..
It feels like an oily texture , which isn't as weird as it sounds. But it definitely smoothes, hydrates and adds a natural colour to the lips. It also has flecks of glitter making the lips seem more glossy.  It is 100% natural and the product is not tested on animals :)

Next is the Carmex moisturising lip balm in the flavour strawberry.  This is very nice as it heats up the lips making them seem more full whilst also protecting from the summer rays with SPF 15. I bought this from Primark for £2.00.

The following two products are from e.l.f. The top product in the picture is the zit zapping concealer in the shade light D18. It contains witch hazel which fights spot break outs and clears the skin. This product is good because not only can you cover blemishes but also get rid of them at the same time rather than just blocking pores. The only down side to this product is when using too much it can give a 'cakey' appearance which doesn't look too pretty! Mind you it only costs £1.50.

After this is the e.l.f all over stick in the shade rosy beige. The price is the same as the product above and it applies smooth on to the skin, blending well. It is an easy alternative to take on the go if you may not have the time for liquid foundation. It also smells like apricot sherbet too... but we wouldn't recommend eating it.

Lastly is the ever so famous spring-summer fragrance of Daisy by Marc Jacobs. We both have this perfume as it is a light and flowery fragrance. We love the cute packaging too. The price is hefty, ranging from £30-£60, but it is a good investment as it will last for quite a long time.

What are your summer favourites?

Thanks for reading
